Narrative and documentary films that in some way have music as a focus. Music in movies isn't just documentaries on bands or musicals with wall-to-wall singing (although those are welcome, send them in!)... we're looking for feature films that explore the relationship between music and film in fresh and exciting ways. Musicals and docs on musicians are indeed welcome, as are movies with soundtracks playing an integral part in the experience of the film as a whole (think Drive). Rock operas, performance pieces, experimental film, we're looking for fellow explorers pushing the boundaries of where music and motion pictures meet, overlap, and interplay.
